DraftWise — Pricing

Effective date: 1 July 2026

DraftWise is commercial-grade, freemium software: a 30-day free trial that converts to paid, plus a permanent free review-only mode. Pricing is regional and deliberately low in the core market. Billing and refund questions: payment@ijyalabs.in.

1. Plans

• Free trial — 30 days, full authoring features, 1 device. The owner can grant one additional 30-day extension on request. You are charged only if you choose a paid plan.
• Review-only mode — free, no licence. Anyone can open a document shared with them to read, comment, and approve or return a review turn. It is comment-only (no direct text edits), consumes no trial, and binds no device — so a client or external reviewer never has to buy the app to review one file.
• Solo (paid). Unlimited matters, Word (DOCX) export, all power features, all Legal templates, the full timeline, and initiating sequential review. Up to 5 devices, single user.
• Office (paid). Everything in Solo, plus multi-seat, shared office templates, and priority support. Per seat; each seat up to 5 devices.
• Expired / unlicensed — read-only. View and export or print existing documents, and still use free review-only mode; no editing, saving, or new Drive sync. Your documents are never trapped — they remain in your Google Drive.

2. Regional pricing (annual launch anchors)

Bands are assigned by the billing country of your payment method. Band A = South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan) and Africa; Band B = Gulf, the rest of Asia / SE Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe (+10%); Band C = US, Canada, Western Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand (+15%). All amounts are exclusive of tax.

Yearly billing only — no monthly plans in any band. These are adjustable launch anchors; the in-app price at the moment of purchase governs.

3. Payments — Razorpay

All payments are handled by Razorpay — UPI, cards, and netbanking for India; international cards for USD. Only INR and USD are charged. Razorpay is PCI-DSS-compliant and holds your card/UPI data; DraftWise stores none. A purchase is confirmed only after Razorpay's signed webhook is verified.

4. What a purchase grants

• A yearly licence for your plan, with free feature updates while it is active. Security and compatibility fixes are delivered to everyone, including expired installs.
• Full offline use for the entire term — only the update check needs the internet. Read-only mode applies only on genuine expiry or revocation, never on connectivity loss; if a routine online re-check fails, any valid licence gets a rolling 96-hour continuation.
• A device allowance (Solo: 5 devices; Office: 5 per seat), with self-service device migration and remote removal of a lost device.

5. Refunds

Because a generous free trial is provided before any charge, paid licences are generally non-refundable, except:

• Duplicate or erroneous charge — fully refunded.
• Failure to deliver — if a paid licence cannot be activated due to a fault on our side and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, you may request a refund.
• Statutory rights — nothing here limits rights you have under applicable Indian consumer law.
• Discretionary — other requests are considered case-by-case at IjyaLabs's reasonable discretion.

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 7–10 business days of approval. To request a refund, email payment@ijyalabs.in with your account email and payment reference. Initiating a chargeback, dispute, or refund revokes the associated licence on its next online check-in.

6. Taxes and invoicing

• 18% GST is added on top of the listed pre-tax price for taxable sales (for example, Solo Band A ₹499 → ₹588.82 invoiced); the GST-inclusive total is shown before you pay.
• We issue GST-compliant tax invoices under the India GST system, in the name IjyaLabs (Maharashtra). Our GSTIN is printed on every tax invoice and provided on request; a B2B buyer who supplies a valid GSTIN may claim input tax credit.
• For sales outside India, applicable foreign taxes or VAT are handled per law; you are responsible for any taxes not collected by us.

7. Governing law

Governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction at the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
